Great first time experience with Fix my Boiler, easy to book an appointment that suited me and Matt turned up on time. Such a helpful pleasant professional (quite rare these days) we’ll be using them again and would happily recommend to friends and family I give 11 out of 10 if I could !!

Fix My Boiler offers a 5star service. Matt has left no stone unturned to sort out a problem with my heating and hot water system and having found the source was able to isolate it immediately, leaving my new kitchen intact!! We would have appreciated a call to say that you were running late on a previous job, on the Monday 10/10/22 and the reason we did not ring you was because we did not want to hassle you.

However, on arrival at our house you were extremely efficient and helpful and gave us the complete picture of the situation. We really appreciated being given an emergency slot on Thursday 13/10/22 and we could not have wished for a better service than you and your Assistant gave us, and we felt that all went very smoothly.

Matt lived up to the name – he fixed my boiler. What differentiates him from other plumbers I’ve used in the past is his thoroughness, care and attention to detail. He took the time to explain what he was doing – in language I could understand! – and tested everything to ensure the problem was solved. Matt is a very personable, reliable and trustworthy individual. Given the time he needed to fix my boiler, the cost was very reasonable, too. I fully recommend him.

After being informed by my tenant that their shower wasn’t working I contacted various plumbers in the area to try & get it fixed as soon as possible. Matt, at Fix My Boiler was the only one available to attend the property within 24hrs and even managed to replace the shower, like for like, within 48hrs. Incredibly quick response, professional and honest. I’ve also received a message from my tenant saying how lovely Matt was and what a great job he’s done. I don’t even need to see it myself! Huge thank you to Matt, such a stress free experience which is definitely what I need right now!

I had a new boiler installed a month ago but thought I would wait a while before posting a review. Matt provided an excellent service from quote through to completion.

I wanted my 25+ year old boiler replaced and a combi boiler resited into the airing cupboard with the tank removed. He did a perfect job. Exactly what I wanted and I’m a very happy customer.

Minimal disruption and noise (we were working at home) and everything was tidied away each night. The new shower is amazing. Cost came in exactly as quoted (and far less than I had anticipated). I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Matt is solid, professional, sensible and highly knowledgeable of all plumbing and heating systems and unlike most other suppliers is fair and competitive with pricing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

nb Matt responds to problems very quickly when needs must and since he left Gaters of Simouth (now overpriced and unreliable in my opinion), where he was their top expert, he has just got better and better – he is now contracted to service all our properties. GREAT WORK MATT.

Matt isn’t just a plumber, he’s an absolute lifesaver. He’s the only professional within 15 miles of Exeter who came to our aid when we had an emergency out of hours.

He gave excellent advice over the phone (while running other errands), then came over promptly afterwards to fix our leaking pipe.

Matt has serviced our boiler for 5 years and he’s the best gas boiler engineer we’ve ever had. His thorough knowledge of the boiler and associated pipework/valves etc. is obvious, his practical work first rate. His advice is based on what is best for the customer, not profit. We are a family with 2 kids, was very worried about not having any hot water or heating and with situation in the country wasn’t sure anyone will come out to help us .All working and fine now, was very easy directions to follow and we are very thankful for your help.

Our broken boiler couldn’t have happened at a worse time. On the first day of UK lockdown!! We called Matt who said that with the current situation he would video call us first to see if he could advise us on how to fix the problem before coming out to our home.
